매 순간 사라지는 방식으로 나타나는 존재들을 관찰하다 보면,
존재는 그것을 인식하는 주체와 작용함으로써 자신을 드러낸다는 것을 알게 된다.
존재 자체에 실존성이 있다기보다는, 매 순간 나름의 실존이 발휘되고 또 사라지는 것이다.

이처럼 존재로서 존재를 인식하는 일은
서로를 무한히 고정시키고 동시에 변화하는 일로 느껴진다.
존재들은 그렇게 변화라는 안식과 함께 서로의 실존을 지탱하고 있는 것 아닐까?

나에게 작업은 이 세계와 나 자신을 느끼며 이해하고, 변화하는 과정이다.
긴 시간에 걸쳐 겹쳐진 흔적 속에는 세계와 나 자신에 대한 이해가 겹겹이 쌓여 있다.
그곳엔 무한히 변화하는 존재와 무한히 변화하는 나의 시선들이 남아있다.


In observing entities that emerge only to fade away in each fleeting moment, I recognize that existence reveals itself through its interaction with the perceiving subject. Rather than possessing intrinsic existentiality, existence manifests itself uniquely in each moment, only to dissolve once again.

The act of recognizing existence in this manner seems akin to mutually stabilizing one another while simultaneously undergoing perpetual transformation. Could it be that beings sustain each other's existence through this state of transformation, which brings repose?

For me, the artistic process serves as a means to sense, comprehend, and evolve both my relationship with the world and my understanding of myself. The traces left behind, accumulated over extended periods, embody an intricate understanding of both the world and my own being. These layers capture my ever-evolving perspectives alongside the endlessly changing entities.
