선화랑에서는 2026년 첫 전시로 3월 4일부터 4월 4일까지 그룹전 《The Prospective 2026: Recall of the Senses》를 개최합니다. 김그림(b.1993), 김연홍(b.1994), 박시월(b.1993), 정유미(b.1982), 최은정(b.1980), 황원해(b.1989) 작가가 참여하는 이번 전시에서는 디지털 환경 속 경험이 단편화되는 시대에서, 예술이 여전히 인간의 감각을 환기하고 새로운 감응을 일깨우는 매개가 될 수 있음을 조망합니다. 오늘날 시각 경험은 디지털 스크린을 중심으로 빠르게 재편되고 있습니다. 끊임없이 이미지를 소비하는 환경 속에서 살아가지만, 이러한 시대적 흐름속에서 감각을 다시 일깨우고 손끝과 시선, 기억과 상상을 복합적으로 자극하는 감각적 경험에 주목합니다. 이번 전시가 동시대를 살아가는 감각을 새롭게 바라보는 계기가 되기를 바랍니다.

Exhibition Space 1_ (김그림, 정유미) – 자연으로부터 얻은 내면의 이야기, 삶의 은유
자연의 이미지와 풍경을 통해 인간의 내면과 삶의 모습을 은유적으로 풀어내는 김그림과 정유미의 작업이 소개됩니다. 김그림은 자연 속 생명체의 삶의 모습을 관찰하며 인간과 사회의 모습을 유기적으로 연결시킨 풍경으로 풀어냅니다. 정유미는 자연의 요소들을 시적이고 상징적인 이미지로 재구성하며, 개인의 내면과 세계 사이에서 발생하는 정서적 울림을 화면 속에 담아냅니다. 두 작가의 작업은 자연이라는 공통의 출발점에서 인간의 감각과 감정을 환기하며, 관람자에게 사유의 여백을 제공합니다.

Exhibition Space 2_ (김연홍, 박시월) - 간접적인 경험과 기억으로부터 확장된 감정의 결
기억과 경험의 축적 속에서 형성되는 감정의 결을 탐색하는 김연홍과 박시월의 작업이 펼쳐집니다. 김연홍의 작업은 수집된 이미지와 기억의 단편들을 재조합하며 현실과 비현실이 교차하는 풍경을 만들어냅니다. 이러한 과정 속에서 화면은 개인의 감정과 기억이 확장되는 심리적 풍경으로 드러납니다. 박시월은 기억의 파편들을 바탕으로 잠재된 감정을 세심하게 탐색하며 회화로 풀어냅니다. 흐릿하게 겹쳐지는 이미지와 색채의 레이어를 통해 현실과 기억, 상상이 교차하는 몽환적인 풍경을 구성합니다. 두 작가의 작업은 직접적인 경험의 순간보다 그 이후에 남겨진 기억과 감정의 흔적에 집중하며, 관람자가 자신의 감각과 기억을 다시 더듬어보도록 이끕니다.

Exhibition Space 3_ (최은정, 황원해) - 도시와 인간의 관계, 생명성의 순환
도시의 해체와 재구성의 과정 속에서 드러나는 생명의 흔적과 변화의 순간을 탐색합니다. 황원해가 도시 구조의 파편과 시각적 부조화를 통해 끊임없이 변형되는 풍경의 단면을 포착한다면, 최은정은 붕괴된 환경 속에서도 다시 피어나는 꽃을 통해 회복과 재생의 가능성을 제시합니다. 두 작가는 서로 다른 시선으로 변화와 불확실성 속에서 드러나는 삶의 순환과 생명력을 사유하게 합니다.


Sun Gallery presents its first exhibition of 2026, the group exhibition《The Prospective 2026: Recall of the Senses》on view from March 4 to April 4, 2026. Featuring works by Greem Kim, Yeonhong Kim, Siwol Park, Yumi Chung, Eunjung Choi, and Wonhae Hwang, the exhibition explores how art can continue to evoke human sensory experience and awaken new forms of perception in an era where digital environments increasingly fragment our experiences. Today, our visual experience is rapidly being reshaped around digital screens. While we live in a time of constant image consumption, vision has become both the most familiar and one of the most rapidly changing senses in everyday life. Within this context, Recall of the Senses seeks to reawaken dulled perceptions and foreground sensory experiences that stimulate touch, gaze, memory, and imagination in a layered and interconnected way. Through this exhibition, SunGallery hopes to offer an opportunity to reconsider and rediscover the sensory awareness with which we experience the contemporary world.


(Geurim Kim, Yumi Jung)_ Inner Narratives from Nature, Metaphors of Life
The works of Geurim Kim and Yumi Jung metaphorically explore the inner world of human beings and the forms of life through images and landscapes of nature. Geurim Kim observes the lives of living organisms in nature and translates them into landscapes that organically connect human existence with society. Yumi Jung reconstructs elements of nature into poetic and symbolic imagery, capturing emotional resonances that emerge between the individual’s inner world and the surrounding world. Beginning from the shared point of departure of nature, the works of both artists evoke human senses and emotions while offering viewers a space for contemplation.

(Yeonhong Kim, Siwol Park)_ Emotional Textures Expanded from Indirect Experience and Memory
The works of Yeonhong Kim and Siwol Park explore the emotional textures formed through the accumulation of memories and experiences. Yeonhong Kim recombines collected images and fragments of memory to create landscapes in which reality and unreality intersect. Through this process, the canvas unfolds as a psychological landscape where personal emotions and memories expand. Siwol Park carefully examines latent emotions derived from fragments of memory and expresses them through painting. Blurred overlapping images and layered colors construct dreamlike landscapes in which reality, memory, and imagination intersect. Rather than focusing on the immediate moment of experience, both artists concentrate on the traces of memory and emotion that remain afterward, inviting viewers to revisit their own senses and memories.

(Eunjeong Choi, Wonhae Hwang)_ The Relationship Between the City and Humanit, Cycles of Vitality
Traces of life and moments of transformation that emerge through processes of urban deconstruction and reconstruction are explored in the works of Wonhae Hwang and Eunjeong Choi. Wonhae Hwang captures fragments of urban structures and visual dissonance, revealing cross-sections of landscapes that are constantly transforming. In contrast, Eunjeong Choi presents the possibility of recovery and regeneration through flowers that bloom again even within collapsed environments. Through their different perspectives, the two artists reflect on the cycles of life and vitality that emerge amid change and uncertainty.
